Mission: To prepare an assessment of public infrastructure in San Luis Obispo County to build support for adequate funding to improve and maintain the infrastructure of the various jurisdictions.
What is an Infrastructure Report Card? An Infrastructure Report Card is an independent assessment of the condition, capacity, operation, safety, and security of public infrastructure. Why do we need this Report Card? We need an easy-to-understand method to describe the condition of our public infrastructure. Understanding the condition of our infrastructure will allow us to make better-informed funding decisions. We need your help. We need people to assist in developing criteria, obtaining pertinent information, and grading the infrastructure. We have six working groups: Bridges/Roads, Flood Control, Stormwater Quality, Drinking Water, Wastewater, and Transit.
